Just when we thought we couldnât stop belting out The Greatest Showman tunes, Kelly Clarkson and a bevy of other talented artists have reimagined the soundtrack! The new tribute album features the likes of Pink (âA Million Dreamsâ) Panic! At the Disco (âThe Greatest Showâ), Missy Elliott (âThis Is Me,â with Kesha and Keala Settle) Sara Bareilles (âTightropeâ), Zac Brown Band (âFrom Now Onâ) and James Arthur (âRewrite The Stars,â with Anne-Marie) with Clarkson belting out power ballad âNever Enough.â
The fan-favorite song from the box office hit starring Hugh Jackman was a perfect fit for Clarkson, who admitted to Seacrest that she suffers being a âpeople pleaser.â
âI think sometimes weâre just like that because our society pushes us so much weâre always going, going, going,â Clarkson said on-air on Friday, November 16. âItâs funny that lyric [âNever Enoughâ] is so true, not just for artists, but humans, its weâre never enough, weâre always pushing ourselves ⌠maybe it stems from that just society in general, we are always nonstop. ⌠Itâs so annoying, itâs my worst quality,â she admitted.
The reimagined album introduces the musical to a wider audience and also is one of the American Idol alumâs favorite albums.
âRemember Moulin Rogue? When it first came out? I feel like I was totally moved like that,â she concluded. ââEl Tango de Roxanneâ â that song ⌠I canât. I listen to that soundtrack all the time. Everybody's probably listening to Jay-Z while theyâre running on the treadmill and Iâm totally rocking out to Moulin Rogue.â
