CSU Forecasters Now Call For "Below-Average" Season

Louisiana residents may have even less to fear from this year's Atlantic Hurricane Season.

Forecasting experts Philip Klotzbach and Michael Bell at Colorado State University are rolling back their earlier prediction for 14 named storms.

In an update released Monday, the pair now believes there will be a total of eleven named storms by the end of November, four them expected to become hurricanes, but only one of them a Category 3 or higher.
