South Louisiana once again braces for a mid-week severe weather threat.
Most of the region is under an enhanced risk of severe weather Wednesday, with areas north of I-12 under a moderate risk.
"Main threats are significant damaging winds (70+ mph) and a few embedded tornadoes (1-2 of which could be strong/long track)," tweeted the National Weather Service New Orleans/Baton Rouge office. "Hail and locally heavy rainfall are also possible."
A wind advisory will also be in effect on Wednesday.
