NHC: TD2 Showing "Little Change In Strength"

The National Hurricane Center said Friday Tropical Depression Two showed "little change in strength" after a hurricane hunter aircraft inspected the system.

While the NHC could not rule out a short-lived intensification into a tropical storm, forecasters noted that conditions would become "increasingly unfavorable" over the coming hours.

It's now expected the system will have dissipated by early Sunday.

There is no harm to Louisiana from this system.

The 2023 Atlantic hurricane season ends November 30.
